Central Valley Vintage Base Ball is pleased to announce that it will be participating in the California Museum's "California At Bat" exhibit's Home Opener event on July 29th from 12-4 PM.
Founder Matt "Brandywine" Stone will be giving a presentation at 2:15 PM, where he will be demonstrating the rules of the 19th Century game and talking about the history of baseball in the Sacramento region. The organization will also have a table set up for the event, where people can learn more about the early game and the people who played it.
"California at Bat: America's Pastime in the Golden State" is a new exhibit at the California Museum highlighting the history of baseball in the state from the days of the Gold Rush to the present.
